Our Services
Precision measurement with your input.
Every In2stone worktop begins with exact measurement. But we don't just walk in, point a laser, and leave. We hand-template using physical forms placed directly onto your installed cabinets.
Why we still hand-template in a digital world.
At first glance, laser templating sounds more advanced. But in our 40 years of experience, hand-templating produces a better result — because it's collaborative.
"When we lay down a physical template, you can actually see where the edges will sit. You can visualise the overhang. You can see exactly where the sink cut-out will be, and adjust it by a few millimetres if it looks slightly off-centre to your eye. It takes a little longer than a digital scan, but it means there's no guesswork."
The result? A 100% first-time fit rate. No guesswork, no surprises, and no worktops that don't quite line up with the wall. You have your say before a single blade touches the stone.
The templating process.
Site Visit
We visit your home once your base units and end panels are fully installed and secured. Nothing should move from this point forward.
Physical Templating
We build a precise physical framework using Correx board and hot glue, matching the exact dimensions of your actual cabinets.
Collaboration
We discuss overhangs, edge profiles, joint positions, and tricky details with you right there in the room.
Final Confirmation
Only when you're 100% happy with what you see and have signed off on the template do we take it back to the workshop.
