Each slab presents a cool, light grey base densely interspersed with irregular specks and flecks of off-white, charcoal, and mid-grey — creating a busy yet restrained pattern that feels both natural and composed. Larger elongated inclusions of darker grey drift through the matrix, adding subtle depth without introducing directional veining. The coarse, granular texture gives the surface an honest, tactile quality that speaks to its igneous origins.

As an intrusive igneous rock formed over millions of years beneath the Earth's crust, this granite carries the hallmark durability of its geological class — a Mohs hardness of 6–7, excellent heat resistance born from volcanic temperatures, and natural UV stability that means it will never fade in a sun-drenched kitchen. The dense mineral structure keeps porosity low, and with annual sealing, Ice Blue performs beautifully in busy family kitchens where life happens around the worktop.
