Impala M Honed strips the shine from this medium-grade South African gabbro and lets the raw mineral character take centre stage. The very dark, cool charcoal-grey base is intricately scattered with small, irregularly shaped specks in lighter cool greys, subtle brownish-greys, and occasional very pale grey highlights. Without the reflective sheen of a polished surface, these tonal variations become more visible — the honed finish invites you to see the stone's geological complexity rather than your own reflection.

Performance remains uncompromised. The honed process changes the surface texture but not the stone's core properties — Mohs 6–7 hardness, excellent heat resistance, and the dense mineral structure that keeps porosity low.
