Steel Grey granite is quarried from the Martur area of Prakasam District in Andhra Pradesh, South India — one of the most consistent and commercially reliable dark granites on the international market. The slab presents a very dark charcoal-grey base with a dense busy speckled pattern of fine to medium grains in dark grey, cool grey, and subtle hints of deep blue-grey. Larger irregular and often elongated crystalline inclusions of deeper slightly translucent dark grey are distributed throughout. The polished finish enhances the multi-tonal depth and visual complexity of the flecking.
