Breccia Sarda

Breccia Sarda is a warm, inviting marble quarried from the slopes of Mount Tuttavista in Orosei, on the eastern coast of Sardinia — Italy's second-largest island. This Sardinian stone features a welcoming palette of soft beige, warm cream, and hazelnut tones, with a distinctive geological structure: alternating layers of limestone marble and Dolomite marble embellished with fine veins of crystalline calcite and onyx-like mineral foils. What makes Breccia Sarda particularly special is its fossil content — genuine marine fossils including shells and other ancient organisms are naturally embedded within the stone, each one a remnant of the shallow seas that once covered Sardinia millions of years ago.
