Across its polished surface, we see gentle, sweeping veins of a slightly warmer tan, interwoven with the subtlest cloudy formations. This delicate, understated patterning creates a calm, luminous quality, with a soft, neutral palette that bridges the warmth of traditional Emperador with a brighter, more contemporary lightness, perfect for creating airy luxury worktops.
Quarried from the Burdur region of Turkey, Emperador White is a testament to the Earth's intricate geological processes. As a non-foliated metamorphic rock, this marble began its journey as limestone or dolostone, transformed over millennia by intense heat and pressure. This process recrystallised its calcite minerals into the dense, interlocking mosaic we see today, with accessory minerals introducing the gentle tan and cloudy patterns that make each slab unique.
