Quarried exclusively from the Laas (Lasa) region in South Tyrol (Alto Adige), Italy, Lasa White marble derives its exceptional whiteness and pristine nature from its high Alpine origin. This non-foliated metamorphic rock, primarily composed of recrystallized calcite, was formed over millennia as limestone underwent immense heat and pressure deep within the earth. The lack of significant impurities in its geological formation is what grants Lasa White its renowned purity and brilliant colour, making it a true geological marvel.
