A historically renowned Italian marble with a luminous white base, characterized by incredibly soft, feathery sweeps of diffuse pale silver-grey and cloudy light grey-blue veining across a matte honed surface.
White Carrara C Honed is a gorgeously classic Italian marble, quarried from the famed Apuan Alps in Carrara, Tuscany. It presents a beautifully pristine, highly luminous background that ranges from pure white to an incredibly pale, cool light-grey. The wonderfully elegant, fabulously matte honed surface is its signature, heavily characterized by very fine, incredibly soft, feathery sweeps of diffuse pale silver-grey and subtle, cloudy light grey-blue veining. This creates an understated, sophisticated character that makes it a timeless and exceptionally versatile choice for truly elegant luxury worktops.
This material is a non-foliated metamorphic rock, formed when limestone or dolostone undergoes intense heat and pressure over millennia. Primarily composed of calcite, the subtle grey and blue tones in White Carrara C come from specific mineral impurities like graphite or mica trapped within the recrystallizing stone, unique to the rich geological history of the Carrara region. We select these slabs with passion, ensuring the subtle beauty and inherent quality that define true Italian craftsmanship.
