The Stone

See the natural beauty of Bianco up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.

Colour:

White

A pure, pristine white porcelain with no veining or pattern — minimalist, clean, and utterly uniform.

Bianco is pure simplicity — a solid white porcelain surface with no veining, pattern, or colour variation whatsoever. The surface is clean, flat, and bright with just a very subtle pressed texture that adds a touch of tactile interest up close. This is the ideal canvas for kitchens and bathrooms where the worktop should recede and let cabinetry, accessories, and splashback materials take the visual lead. A perennial choice for modern minimalist interiors.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Bianco

Is Bianco the most minimal white surface in your porcelain range?
Bianco is one of the most minimal — a plain white with no veining and just a subtle pressed texture. However, Thassos takes minimalism even further with virtually no visible texture at all. If you want pure white with a touch of tactile interest, choose Bianco; for absolute flatness, consider Thassos.
What design approach prevents a pure white worktop from looking clinical?
Pairing Bianco with warm timber cabinetry, textured splashbacks, and warm-toned accessories prevents sterility. The subtle pressed texture in Bianco itself helps too — it catches light differently than a flat surface, preventing the perfectly uniform, clinical look. Under-cabinet warm-tone LED lighting also softens the overall feel.
Can Bianco be used for outdoor kitchen counters?
Yes — porcelain is UV-stable and frost-proof, making it suitable for outdoor use. Bianco's pure white won't yellow in sunlight like some resin-bound materials can. However, keep in mind that very light outdoor surfaces may show dirt more readily than medium-toned options, so consider your maintenance preferences.
How thick are the porcelain slabs and does thickness affect worktop use?
Cullifords Ceramic slabs are typically available in 12mm and 20mm thicknesses. For worktops, 20mm is standard and feels substantial and premium. 12mm slabs are popular for wall cladding, splashbacks, and feature surfaces where lighter weight is beneficial. Your fabricator will advise on the best thickness for your specific application.
Is pure white porcelain harder to keep clean than patterned surfaces?
The surface itself cleans identically to any other porcelain — non-porous, wipe-clean, and stain-proof. However, pure white surfaces do show crumbs, spills, and water spots more visibly than patterned or darker surfaces simply because there's no visual pattern to camouflage them. If low-visual-maintenance is priority, a veined or textured surface may be more forgiving day-to-day.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
