The Stone
See the natural beauty of Calacatta Matarazzo up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.
Creamy off-white porcelain with dense, fractured grey veining — a richly complex calacatta marble recreation.
Optimum Calacatta Matarazzo takes the calacatta concept and adds intricate complexity. Its creamy off-white base is densely covered by a fractured, random network of veining that ranges from fine, thread-like lines to broad, cloud-like formations. The veins are predominantly cool grey, accented with distinct areas of warmer light beige-grey that prevent the pattern feeling monotone. The dynamic, non-uniform distribution creates genuine visual movement across the entire surface. The polished finish gives Matarazzo a subtle sheen that brings out the tonal depth of the layered veining. This is a more intricate, busier interpretation than Calacatta Supreme or Calacatta Gold — the fractured character gives it a geological authenticity that simpler marble patterns lack. As porcelain stoneware, it's completely heat-proof, acid-resistant, and maintenance-free. Manufactured in extra-large 1840 × 3300mm slabs from 100% natural raw materials. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"— Ashley ChapmanGoogle Review
