The Stone

See the natural beauty of Concrete White up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.

Style:

Concrete Effect Industrial Matte Finish Plain

Warm off-white porcelain with subtle cloud-like concrete movement — a bleached, minimal industrial surface.

Optimum Concrete White is the lightest surface in the Concrete collection, delivering a bleached, pared-back industrial aesthetic. Its off-white base carries distinct warm beige undertones, with a very subtle, diffuse pattern of soft cloud-like movement in slightly darker pale beige-grey distributed randomly across the surface. The movement is gentle and organic — broad blurs rather than defined lines — creating just enough visual activity to prevent the surface looking flat. The matte, low-sheen finish completes the refined plaster-effect character. Concrete White is the choice for kitchens that want the raw, contemporary quality of concrete in its lightest possible form — a surface that feels designed and considered rather than simply plain. As porcelain stoneware, it's heat-proof, UV-stable, and completely maintenance-free. Manufactured in extra-large 1840 × 3300mm slabs from 100% natural raw materials. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Concrete White

What does Optimum Concrete White look like?
Concrete White has an off-white base with warm beige undertones and very subtle cloud-like movement in pale beige-grey. The pattern is gentle and diffuse — broad, organic blurs rather than any defined lines or texture. The matte finish has a low sheen. It reads as a bleached, refined concrete or plaster surface — minimal but not featureless.
Is Concrete White actually white?
It's not a pure, crisp white — it has noticeable warm beige undertones that give it a natural, lived-in quality rather than a clinical look. Under warm kitchen lighting it reads as a soft, warm off-white. Under cooler light it appears slightly more neutral. It's warmer than a pure white quartz would be.
How does Concrete White differ from a plain white quartz?
Plain white quartz typically looks uniform and manufactured. Concrete White has the subtle, organic tonal variation of poured concrete — soft cloud-like shifts in tone that give the surface depth and character. The matte finish adds to the difference, feeling tactile and natural rather than polished and slick.
What design schemes suit Concrete White?
Concrete White works beautifully in Scandinavian, minimalist, coastal, and contemporary kitchens. It pairs with pale timber, white-washed brick, linen, and natural materials. The warm undertone prevents it feeling cold, making it liveable as well as stylish. It's also effective in commercial spaces like cafe counters and reception desks.
Can all three Concrete finishes be combined?
Yes — using different tones from the Concrete collection across a kitchen can create visual depth while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. For example, Concrete White on perimeter worktops with Concrete Graphite on the island creates a tonal contrast that adds interest without introducing a different design language.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
