The Stone
See the natural beauty of Macchia Vecchia up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this porcelain unique.
Pale cream porcelain with dense warm brown-grey and golden veining — a richly layered Italian marble recreation.
Optimum Macchia Vecchia recreates one of Italy's most characterful decorative marbles. Its pale cream base with warm undertones is traversed by a dense network of organic veining in warm brown-grey with subtle golden and beige tints, accompanied by deeper muted charcoal-grey accents and lighter diffused grey tones. The veins flow randomly, varying from fine threads to bolder formations, creating a surface with exceptional tonal range and visual complexity. The polished finish amplifies the multi-tonal interplay, making Macchia Vecchia glow under kitchen lighting. The combination of cream, gold, brown, and grey gives this surface a warmth and richness that cooler marble-effect designs can't match. As porcelain stoneware, it delivers this complex natural stone character with complete heat resistance, acid immunity, and zero maintenance. Manufactured in extra-large 1840 × 3300mm slabs from 100% natural raw materials. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"— Ashley ChapmanGoogle Review
