The Stone

See the natural beauty of Belgian Moca up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Brown Grey Beige

Warm mid-brown-grey quartz with dense multi-tonal speckling — a solid, grounded surface with fine aggregate character.

BQS Belgian Moca brings a warm, earthy presence to the BQS range. Its uniform mid-brown-grey base is densely speckled with fine, granular particles in a multi-tonal blend of lighter off-white and beige through to darker brown-grey and black. There's no veining or directional pattern — instead, the randomly distributed inclusions create a fine aggregate character that feels grounded and natural. The smooth finish with its slight sheen keeps the surface feeling refined without high-gloss reflectivity. Belgian Moca is a strong choice for kitchens where warmth and earthiness are the priority — it pairs naturally with timber, leather, and warm metals, and works particularly well in farmhouse, rustic, and industrial-contemporary schemes. Engineered from 93% natural quartz by Brachot, non-porous, and requiring no sealing. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Belgian Moca

What does BQS Belgian Moca look like?
Belgian Moca has a uniform warm mid-brown-grey base densely covered with fine granular particles in varying tones — lighter off-white and beige through to darker brown-grey and black. There's no veining or pattern, just a consistent, richly textured speckled surface. It has a smooth finish with a slight sheen and reads as a warm, natural aggregate stone.
Is Belgian Moca a dark or mid-tone surface?
It sits in the mid-tone range — not as dark as Grey or Black Mirrorlux, but substantially darker than the whites and creams in the BQS range. The warm brown-grey base is rich without being heavy, making it more versatile than a truly dark surface while still providing grounding visual weight.
What kitchen styles suit Belgian Moca?
Belgian Moca works particularly well in farmhouse, rustic, industrial-contemporary, and warm modern kitchens. It pairs naturally with timber cabinetry, exposed brick, leather bar stools, and brushed bronze hardware. In bathrooms, the warm tones complement natural stone flooring and warm-toned fixtures beautifully.
Does the speckled pattern hide marks?
Yes — the dense, multi-tonal speckling is very forgiving in daily use. Crumbs, minor water marks, and fingerprints are far less visible than on a solid or lightly coloured surface. This makes Belgian Moca a practical choice for busy family kitchens and high-traffic areas.
How does Belgian Moca compare to Belgian Chocolate?
Both are speckled, non-veined BQS designs in the darker tonal range, but Belgian Moca is warmer and browner — a rich mocha tone. Belgian Chocolate has a cooler, greyer base with more varied particle sizes including translucent elements. Moca is warmer and more earthy; Chocolate is cooler and more textured.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
