The Stone

See the natural beauty of Capri up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Warm cream quartz with dense, intricate taupe and grey-brown veining — a richly detailed marble-effect surface.

BQS Capri layers complexity upon a warm, off-white base. The surface is covered by a dense, intricate network of fine to medium veining in warm taupe, subtle grey-brown, and touches of soft gold that spread randomly across the slab in organic formations. The veins vary in intensity — some sections darker and more defined, others softer and more diffused — creating a visual depth that rewards closer inspection. The polished finish gives Capri a smooth, subtly reflective quality that brings out the tonal shifts between the warm cream base and the layered veining. With cool grey undertones adding contrast to the warmer elements, it reads as a genuinely complex marble-effect surface rather than a simple two-tone design. A strong choice for kitchens where the worktop needs to hold visual interest alongside rich cabinetry and detailed interiors. Engineered from 93% natural quartz by Brachot, non-porous, and requiring no sealing. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Capri

What does BQS Capri look like?
Capri has an off-white base with warm cream undertones and very pale cool grey areas that add depth. A dense, intricate network of fine to medium veining in warm taupe, grey-brown, and soft gold-tinged tones spreads across the surface. The polished finish is smooth and subtly reflective. The overall impression is of a richly detailed, warm marble-effect surface.
Is Capri a busy or subtle design?
It sits between the two. The veining is dense and detailed, giving the surface real visual complexity, but the tonal range stays within warm, muted territory — there's no harsh contrast. From a distance it reads as a warm, textured cream; up close, the intricate veining reveals itself. It's complex without being overwhelming.
What cabinetry colours work with Capri?
The warm cream and taupe tones pair naturally with warm grey, cream, sage green, and natural timber cabinetry. The subtle gold tones in the veining are picked up beautifully by brushed brass hardware. For contrast, deep olive or charcoal units create a grounded scheme that lets the worktop's complexity take centre stage.
How does Capri compare to Crema Fiore?
Both are warm, cream-based designs with brown-grey veining, but they differ in detail. Crema Fiore has broader, swirling patterns with a more organic, natural stone feel. Capri has finer, denser veining with more tonal variation including gold-tinged areas. Capri is more intricate and complex; Crema Fiore is softer and more flowing.
Is the polished finish on Capri easy to maintain?
Yes — the polished surface wipes clean effortlessly with a damp cloth or warm soapy water. Being non-porous quartz, nothing absorbs into the surface, so coffee, wine, and cooking spills clean up without leaving any trace. The warm, textured pattern also disguises minor marks well in daily use.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
