Permafrost

BQS Permafrost sits apart from the typical marble-effect designs in the range. Its light off-white to very pale grey base is permeated by irregular, cloud-like patches of dense, granular texture — small speckles in warm brown-grey, mid-grey, and hints of pale blue-grey that soften at their edges and drift horizontally across the surface. The effect is more concrete or weathered stone than polished marble, with the mottled patches creating a sense of depth against the smoother, lighter background. The honed, matte finish reinforces this industrial quality — there's no high-gloss reflectivity, just a subtle, fine texture that gives the surface a raw, authentic feel. Permafrost is a natural choice for contemporary and industrial kitchens where polished marble would feel out of place. Engineered from 93% natural quartz by Brachot, non-porous, and requiring no sealing. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses.
