The Stone

See the natural beauty of Calacatta Stillstorm up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Grey Brown

Off-white quartz with flowing grey-brown cloud-like veining — a calm, sophisticated calacatta-inspired surface.

Caesarstone Calacatta Stillstorm from the Supernatural collection captures the quiet drama of marble through soft, flowing movement. Its off-white base carries subtle veining distributed moderately across the surface — broad, undulating bands that travel predominantly horizontally, appearing as clusters of interconnected cloud-like shapes. Finer thread-like lines branch and connect randomly alongside the broader formations. The veins are soft warm light grey with subtle hints of brown, creating gentle contrast and depth. The polished finish is smooth and clean, letting the understated veining pattern speak for itself. Stillstorm lives up to its name — it suggests movement and energy frozen in a moment of calm. It's a more composed, serene alternative to bolder calacatta designs, suited to kitchens where marble character should complement rather than dominate. Engineered from up to 90% natural quartz minerals by Caesarstone with a lifetime residential warranty. Available in jumbo 3270 × 1640mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Calacatta Stillstorm

What does Caesarstone Calacatta Stillstorm look like?
Calacatta Stillstorm has an off-white base with moderate veining in soft warm light grey with subtle brown hints. The veins form broad, undulating horizontal bands — cloud-like clusters connected by finer thread-like lines. The polished finish is smooth and clean. It captures the essence of calacatta marble in a calm, restrained way.
How does Stillstorm compare to Statuario Maximus?
Both are marble-effect Supernatural designs, but they differ in intensity. Statuario Maximus has broader, more prominent charcoal-grey veining with stronger contrast — it's bolder and more architectural. Stillstorm has softer, warmer grey-brown veining with gentler contrast and a more horizontal, flowing movement. Stillstorm is calmer; Maximus is more commanding.
Is Calacatta Stillstorm a new design?
Yes — Calacatta Stillstorm is one of Caesarstone's newer additions to the Supernatural collection. It brings a contemporary interpretation of the calacatta marble aesthetic, with softer veining and warmer undertones than some of the earlier designs in the range.
What kitchen styles suit Calacatta Stillstorm?
The calm, flowing character suits a wide range of styles — contemporary, transitional, Scandinavian, and classic kitchens all benefit from its restrained marble beauty. It pairs well with both warm and cool colour schemes. The horizontal veining direction works particularly well along long worktop runs and islands.
Do I need trivets with Caesarstone?
Yes — Caesarstone recommends using trivets for items above 150°C (300°F). While quartz is heat-resistant, prolonged contact with very hot pans can potentially cause thermal shock. Trivets and chopping boards are standard good practice for protecting any quartz surface and maintaining its appearance long-term.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
