The Stone

See the natural beauty of Darcrest up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Charcoal Brown Gold Grey

Deep charcoal quartz with brown-gold web-like patterning — a bold, mineral-rich surface with complex depth.

Caesarstone Darcrest from the Supernatural collection is one of the most visually complex dark surfaces in the range. Its deep dark charcoal base is intricately patterned with moderate to dense, web-like and amorphous formations featuring subtle random movement. The contrasting patterns include warm brown-grey, muted gold-grey, and very light greyish tones, ranging from fine thread-like lines to broader irregular patches that appear to contain fine granular or metallic flecks. The subtle sheen finish reflects light gently without high gloss, bringing out the metallic, mineral-like quality in the patterning. Darcrest creates a bold, dramatic atmosphere — it's the Caesarstone choice for kitchens that want dark, moody sophistication with genuine visual complexity rather than solid, featureless darkness. Engineered from up to 90% natural quartz minerals by Caesarstone with a lifetime residential warranty. Available in jumbo 3270 × 1640mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Darcrest

What does Caesarstone Darcrest look like?
Darcrest has a deep dark charcoal base with moderate to dense web-like formations in warm brown-grey, muted gold-grey, and light greyish tones. The patterns range from fine threads to broader patches with granular, almost metallic flecks visible within them. The subtle sheen finish reflects light gently. It's a bold, complex dark surface with genuine mineral-like depth.
What makes Darcrest different from Jet Black?
They're fundamentally different in character. Jet Black is a near-solid dark surface with only fine speckling — minimal and uniform. Darcrest has complex, web-like patterning with multiple contrasting tones including brown-grey and gold accents — it's richly patterned and dramatically complex. Jet Black is quiet; Darcrest is expressive.
What cabinetry suits Darcrest?
Deep charcoal or dark timber cabinetry continues the moody, enveloping aesthetic. White or pale grey units create dramatic contrast that lets the worktop's complex patterning shine. Brushed brass or gold hardware picks up the muted gold-grey tones in the surface pattern. Avoid busy splashback patterns that compete with the intricate worktop design.
Is Darcrest suitable for a feature island?
Exceptionally well suited. The complex patterning creates maximum visual impact on a large, uninterrupted surface where the web-like formations can be fully appreciated. Under pendant or directional lighting, the metallic flecks and gold-grey accents come alive. It's a centrepiece surface designed to command attention.
Does the dark colour require special cleaning?
Caesarstone recommends avoiding cream-coloured cleaning products on dark surfaces — test on a hidden area first. Otherwise, standard care applies: warm soapy water and a soft cloth. The patterned surface disguises marks better than solid dark surfaces. Use trivets for hot items above 150°C as standard practice.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
