The Stone

See the natural beauty of Frozen Terra up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Light warm greige quartz with dense fine grey speckling — a textured concrete-style surface with urban character.

Caesarstone Frozen Terra from the Metropolitan collection offers a richly textured concrete aesthetic. Its very light neutral greige base — warm off-white with a faint grey-beige undertone — is uniformly and densely speckled with very fine, irregular particles in various shades of medium to dark grey. There's no veining or directional pattern — the appeal is purely in the consistent, granular texture that covers the entire surface. The matte, non-reflective finish keeps Frozen Terra feeling raw and authentic, closer to mineral aggregate than polished stone. The dense speckling makes it one of the most practical surfaces for daily use — marks, crumbs, and wear are virtually invisible against the busy, textured background. It bridges the gap between the clean minimalism of Fresh Concrete and the darker intensity of Raw Concrete. Engineered from up to 90% natural quartz minerals by Caesarstone with a lifetime residential warranty. Available in jumbo 3270 × 1640mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Frozen Terra

What does Caesarstone Frozen Terra look like?
Frozen Terra has a very light neutral greige base densely covered with fine, irregular particles in various shades of medium to dark grey. There's no veining or pattern — just a consistent, granular texture across the whole surface. The matte finish is non-reflective. It reads as a richly textured concrete or mineral aggregate surface.
How does Frozen Terra differ from Fresh Concrete?
Fresh Concrete is lighter with an ivory-cream base and virtually no speckling — it's a clean, near-solid concrete look. Frozen Terra has a denser, more visible grey speckling against a warmer greige base — it's busier and more textured. Fresh Concrete is refined and minimal; Frozen Terra is grittier and more industrial.
Is Frozen Terra good for hiding marks?
Extremely good. The dense, multi-tonal speckling makes Frozen Terra one of the most forgiving surfaces in the entire Caesarstone range. Crumbs, fingerprints, water spots, and general daily wear are practically invisible against the busy textured background. It's an excellent choice for high-traffic family kitchens.
What is the Metropolitan collection?
Caesarstone's Metropolitan collection features their industrial, urban-inspired designs with concrete-effect and rough finishes. It includes Fresh Concrete, Frozen Terra, Raw Concrete, Topus Concrete, and Primordia. These designs prioritise tactile, matte aesthetics over the polished marble-effect look of the Supernatural collection.
Does the concrete finish need special care?
The concrete finish requires slightly more daily attention than polished. Keep the surface dry, wipe spills promptly, and clean with warm soapy water. Avoid leaving standing liquid on the surface for extended periods. These simple habits keep the matte finish looking its best. No sealing is required.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
