Stone Effect Veined Textured Natural

Warm grey quartz with dense granular veining and embedded particles — a robust, aggregate-rich natural stone surface.

Caesarstone Moorland Fog from the Classico collection channels the rich, weathered texture of moorland stone. Its light warm grey base is densely interwoven with intricate, web-like veining in darker warm grey and subtle brownish-taupe tones. The veins vary from fine lines to broader patches, flowing randomly across the surface. What sets Moorland Fog apart is the pervasive granular texture — fine speckling and embedded light-coloured particles that run through both the background and the darker veining, giving it an aggregate-rich quality. The matte, honed finish emphasises the textural depth, creating a surface that feels genuinely geological rather than manufactured. It's busy and robust, with enough going on to disguise daily kitchen wear completely. Moorland Fog suits kitchens that favour natural, earthy character with real substance. Engineered from up to 90% natural quartz minerals by Caesarstone with a lifetime residential warranty. Available in jumbo 3270 × 1640mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Moorland Fog

What does Caesarstone Moorland Fog look like?
Moorland Fog has a light warm grey base densely interwoven with intricate web-like veining in darker warm grey and brownish-taupe. The veining varies from fine lines to broader patches. The entire surface has a pervasive granular texture with fine speckling and embedded light particles. The matte finish emphasises the aggregate quality. It reads as a robust, weathered natural stone.
How does Moorland Fog compare to Bianco Drift?
Both are warm grey Classico designs with textured surfaces, but they differ in density and warmth. Bianco Drift has finer, more delicate swirling veining on a lighter greige base. Moorland Fog has denser, more robust veining with a heavier granular texture and warmer brownish-taupe tones. Moorland Fog is more textural and earthy; Bianco Drift is softer and more refined.
Is Moorland Fog suitable for a country kitchen?
Perfectly suited. The warm, earthy tones and robust natural stone character complement farmhouse cabinetry, Belfast sinks, timber worktop sections, and rustic hardware beautifully. The granular, aggregate texture feels authentic alongside handmade tiles and natural stone flooring.
Does the granular texture affect cleaning?
No — the granular appearance is a surface characteristic of the quartz, not a rough physical texture that traps dirt. The surface is smooth enough to wipe clean easily with warm soapy water. The non-porous quartz prevents any absorption. The textured appearance actually helps disguise minor marks and daily wear very effectively.
What colour tones appear in Moorland Fog?
The palette is warm grey at its core, but includes subtle brownish-taupe tones in the veining, lighter off-white embedded particles, and darker grey accents where the veining clusters. It's a multi-tonal warm grey with earthy undertones rather than a cool, steely grey. This warmth makes it versatile across both warm and neutral colour schemes.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
