The Stone

See the natural beauty of Statuario Maximus up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Off-white quartz with diagonal grey veining and fractured detail — a composed Statuario marble interpretation.

Caesarstone Statuario Maximus from the Supernatural collection delivers the enduring appeal of Statuario marble through carefully engineered quartz. Its off-white base with subtle warmth carries a moderate density of veining ranging from fine threads to bolder, fractured structures, running diagonally and branching randomly across the slab. The veins shift from soft warm light grey to medium grey or taupe where thicker and more clustered, with a granular texture visible within the broader formations. The polished finish gives Maximus a slight sheen that brings the veining into focus without high-gloss intensity. The fractured, branching quality of the veining adds a geological authenticity that simpler marble designs miss — it looks like stone that was formed under pressure, not drawn on a screen. Engineered from up to 90% natural quartz minerals by Caesarstone with a lifetime residential warranty. Available in jumbo 3270 × 1640mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Statuario Maximus

What does Caesarstone Statuario Maximus look like?
Statuario Maximus has an off-white base with subtle warmth, carrying moderate veining that ranges from fine threads to bolder fractured structures. The veins run diagonally and branch randomly in soft warm grey to medium grey-taupe, with granular texture visible in the broader formations. The polished finish has a slight sheen. It's an elegant, balanced marble-effect.
What makes Statuario Maximus different from other marble-effect quartz?
The fractured, branching quality of the veining is what sets it apart. Rather than smooth, flowing lines, the veins break and reconnect with a geological authenticity. The granular texture within the broader formations adds depth. It's designed to capture the structural, crystalline quality of natural Statuario marble rather than a simplified illustration of it.
Is Statuario Maximus suitable for a kitchen island?
Absolutely. The diagonal veining creates natural movement across a large surface, making it particularly effective on islands where the worktop is visible from multiple angles. The jumbo slab format means most islands can be fabricated from a single slab, preserving the continuous flow of the veining.
How does the polished finish perform daily?
The polished finish is smooth, easy to clean, and maintains its appearance with minimal care. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth are all you need. The slight sheen is subtle enough that fingerprints and water spots don't dominate. Use trivets for hot pans above 150°C as recommended by Caesarstone.
Can Statuario Maximus be paired with other surfaces?
Yes — it works well as a feature island surface paired with simpler Caesarstone designs on perimeter runs. Pure White, Snow, or Fresh Concrete on the surrounding worktops let Maximus take centre stage on the island without visual competition. This dual-surface approach is increasingly popular in kitchen design.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
