The Stone

See the natural beauty of Brillo Noir up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Black

Style:

Speckled

A deep black quartz studded with mirror sparkle flecks — bold, glamorous, and dramatically reflective.

Brillo Noir is the dark counterpart to Brillo Branco, delivering the same sparkling energy against a deep, saturated black ground. Mirror-like glitter flecks are scattered evenly across the surface, standing out sharply against the dark base and creating dramatic reflective highlights that shift and sparkle as you move around the room. There is no veining or pattern — just confident black with crystalline drama. The polished finish deepens the black tone while amplifying the sparkle effect for maximum visual impact. This surface is made for bold kitchen designs, home bar counters, and statement bathroom vanities where dark glamour sets the mood.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Brillo Noir

What does Brillo Noir look like in person?
Brillo Noir presents a deep black base with fine reflective sparkle particles that catch the light and create a shimmering, starlight-like effect against the dark surface. The sparkle is more dramatic on the black base than on lighter Brillo variants because the contrast between the reflective particles and the dark ground is much stronger. Under directional lighting, the surface appears to twinkle like a night sky.
Is Brillo Noir high maintenance?
Like all solid dark surfaces, Brillo Noir will show water spots, limescale, and fingerprints more readily than lighter worktops. However, the sparkle particles actually help to disguise minor marks by breaking up the plain black surface and drawing the eye to the reflective shimmer instead. Regular wiping with a damp microfibre cloth keeps the surface looking its best, and the non-porous quartz resists actual staining.
Where does Brillo Noir work best?
Brillo Noir is particularly effective in kitchens with contrasting light cabinetry, bars and entertainment areas where mood lighting can showcase the sparkle effect, and bathroom vanities where the glamorous black surface creates a dramatic focal point. It also works well in commercial settings like cocktail bars and beauty salons where the sparkle adds a sense of luxury and theatre.
Can the sparkle particles in Brillo Noir wear away over time?
No. The reflective particles in Brillo Noir are embedded throughout the full thickness of the quartz slab, not just on the surface. They are permanently bonded within the quartz and resin matrix during manufacturing, so they cannot be worn away, scrubbed off, or dulled by everyday use. The sparkle effect will remain consistent for the lifetime of the worktop.
Does Brillo Noir come in both 20mm and 30mm?
Yes, Brillo Noir is available in both 20mm and 30mm thicknesses. The 20mm thickness creates a sleek, slim profile that suits contemporary kitchen designs, while 30mm provides a more substantial, classic worktop depth. The sparkle effect is identical in both thicknesses since the reflective particles are distributed evenly throughout the material.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
