Unlike the smooth, clean veining of the Calacatta range, Roma Black's white elements are varied and organic — fine speckle blends into broader mottled patches, giving the surface a textured, almost geological feel that mimics the randomness of true natural stone. The polished finish deepens the black ground while making the white textures pop. This is a surface for kitchens and bathrooms where dark drama is desired but a completely flat, solid black feels too sterile — Roma Black delivers darkness with life, texture, and visual depth.
