Industrial Textured Matte Finish

Dark charcoal quartz with subtle bronze-rust patina — a weathered industrial surface with real character.

Coante Adira Bronze is something entirely different from the marble-effect designs that dominate most quartz ranges. Part of Coante's Arteo 3D collection, it features a very dark charcoal base with deep, desaturated warm brown-grey undertones and broad, irregular horizontal bands of subtly shifting tone. Sparse patches of dull, dark reddish-brown appear across the surface like oxidised metal, giving it a genuine weathered industrial character. The matte finish and finely mottled texture reinforce the raw, tactile quality — this is a surface that looks and feels like aged corten steel or patinated bronze rather than polished stone. It's an unconventional choice that works brilliantly in industrial-inspired kitchens, loft conversions, and contemporary spaces that embrace raw materials. Underneath the distinctive finish, it's the same reliable 93% natural stone quartz — non-porous, stain-resistant, and maintenance-free. Available in 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone throughout Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Adira Bronze

What does Coante Adira Bronze look like?
Adira Bronze has a very dark charcoal base with warm brown-grey undertones. The surface shows broad, irregular horizontal bands of subtly shifting tone, with sparse patches of dull, dark reddish-brown that resemble oxidised metal. The matte finish and finely mottled texture give it the look and feel of weathered corten steel or aged bronze.
Is Adira Bronze really a quartz surface?
Yes — despite the industrial, metallic appearance, Adira Bronze is engineered quartz made from 93% natural stone and 7% resin. It's produced using Coante's Arteo 3D technology, which creates advanced printed surface designs. You get the look of raw industrial metal with all the practical benefits of quartz: non-porous, stain-resistant, and no sealing required.
What kitchen styles suit Adira Bronze?
Adira Bronze is designed for industrial, urban, and contemporary spaces. It pairs perfectly with exposed brick, concrete, raw timber, and matt black fixtures. It's also a strong choice for loft conversions, open-plan living spaces, and outdoor bar areas where a traditional marble look would feel out of place.
Does the matte finish show marks?
Matte finishes are generally more forgiving than polished surfaces when it comes to fingerprints and water spots. The dark, mottled texture of Adira Bronze disguises minor marks well. Regular cleaning with warm soapy water is all that's needed to keep it looking sharp.
Can Adira Bronze be combined with other worktop surfaces?
Absolutely. It works particularly well as a feature island surface paired with a lighter, simpler worktop on the perimeter runs — for example, Coante Hielo or Super White for contrast. This creates visual interest while keeping the overall scheme balanced. In2Stone can advise on combinations during your consultation.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
