The Stone

See the natural beauty of Alba Via up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Soft off-white quartz with fine brown-grey veining — a quietly refined marble-effect surface for considered kitchens.

Coante Alba Via is a softly spoken quartz surface that brings a sense of calm sophistication to any kitchen or bathroom. Its off-white base carries a warm, creamy undertone, threaded with fine diagonal veining in muted brown-grey and charcoal. The veins are delicate and gently branching rather than bold, creating a marble-inspired movement that never overwhelms the space. Crafted from 93% natural stone bound with resin, Alba Via is non-porous, stain-resistant, and requires no sealing — making it as practical as it is attractive. The polished finish reflects light softly, enhancing the subtle warmth of the base tone. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs and in 20mm or 30mm thicknesses, it's an ideal choice for seamless kitchen islands, bathroom vanities, and splashbacks where understated character is the priority. In2Stone supplies and installs Coante worktops across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Alba Via

What does Coante Alba Via actually look like?
Alba Via has a soft off-white base with a warm, creamy-beige undertone. Fine diagonal veining in muted brown-grey runs across the surface in thin, gently branching lines, creating a subtle marble-inspired movement without any bold or dramatic patterning. The polished finish gives it a refined, gentle sheen.
Is Alba Via warm-toned or cool-toned?
It leans warm. The off-white base has a creamy quality rather than a blue-white coolness, and the veining carries a brownish tone rather than pure grey. It pairs beautifully with warm timber cabinetry, brass hardware, and natural oak flooring.
How does Alba Via compare to a plain white quartz?
It's distinctly different from a plain white. While the base is pale, the cream undertone and diagonal veining give it character and visual movement. If you want clean simplicity, a plain white like Coante Hielo is a better fit — Alba Via is for those who want gentle texture and warmth.
What kitchen styles suit Alba Via best?
Its understated warmth makes Alba Via particularly well suited to classic shaker kitchens, Scandinavian-inspired schemes, and transitional designs that blend modern and traditional elements. It also works beautifully in bright, airy bathrooms and as a splashback material.
Does Alba Via quartz require sealing?
No. Like all Coante quartz surfaces, Alba Via is completely non-porous and never needs sealing. Simply clean with warm soapy water or a mild stone cleaner. Use chopping boards and trivets to protect from scratches and heat, but day-to-day maintenance is minimal.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
