The Stone

See the natural beauty of Calacatta Claire up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Brown Copper

Dense coppery-brown veining flows boldly across a bright white base — a dramatic, luxurious marble-effect quartz.

Coante Calacatta Claire is the boldest calacatta interpretation in the Arteo 3D collection. Its bright white base is traversed by a dense, intricate network of veining in warm reddish-brown to coppery-brown tones, ranging from fine threads to broad, commanding bands that flow diagonally across the slab. The bolder veins show subtle variations in opacity and depth, with warmer brown-grey tones emerging in their deeper sections — a level of detail that reflects the Arteo 3D printing process. This is a surface that makes a deliberate visual statement. The rich, warm colouring of the veining gives Calacatta Claire a luxurious character that stands apart from the cooler grey-veined calacattas in the range. Despite the dramatic appearance, it's the same dependable 93% natural stone quartz underneath — non-porous, stain-resistant, and backed by a 25-year warranty. Available in 3200 × 1600mm jumbo slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone throughout Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Calacatta Claire

What does Coante Calacatta Claire look like?
Calacatta Claire has a bright white base covered by a dense network of veining in warm reddish-brown to coppery-brown tones. The veins range from fine threads to bold, broad bands flowing diagonally across the surface. The bolder veins show subtle variations in opacity, with deeper brown-grey tones in their thicker sections. It's one of the most dramatic designs in Coante's range.
Is Calacatta Claire warm-toned or cool-toned?
Distinctly warm. The coppery-brown veining gives this surface a warm, rich character that's very different from the cooler grey-veined calacattas like Arlena or Edera. It pairs naturally with warm metals like brushed brass and copper, warm timber, and rich earth-toned colour schemes.
Is the veining pattern on Claire consistent across slabs?
As an engineered quartz product using Arteo 3D technology, the pattern is manufactured — so it's consistent from slab to slab in a way that natural marble never is. This makes it easier to plan installations across multiple slabs, as the veining character will match. In2Stone handles the templating to ensure the best visual continuity.
What cabinetry works best with Calacatta Claire?
The warm copper-brown veining looks particularly striking with deep green, navy, or charcoal cabinetry. White or cream units create a brighter, more open feel while letting the veining dominate. Natural timber fronts pick up the warmth in the veining beautifully. Avoid pairing with cool blue-grey tones, as the warm and cool can clash.
How does the Arteo 3D process differ from standard quartz?
Standard quartz manufacturing mixes pigments and mirror flecks into the base material to create pattern. Arteo 3D uses advanced printing technology to apply detailed surface designs onto the 93% natural stone base, allowing for more complex, realistic veining patterns with greater depth and subtlety than traditional methods can achieve.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
