The Stone

See the natural beauty of Carrara up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Crisp white quartz with fine Carrara-inspired grey veining — a faithful quartz tribute to Italy's most celebrated marble.

CRL Quartz Carrara pays genuine tribute to the world's most iconic white marble — Carrara, quarried in the mountains of Tuscany for centuries and used in some of history's greatest architectural masterpieces. A pure white base is traced by fine, characteristic grey veining that flows with the delicate, linear energy that distinguishes authentic Carrara marble from all other white marble-effects. The veining is elegant and restrained — never overpowering the white — creating a surface of pristine, classical beauty. The polished finish amplifies the brilliance of the white ground. Maintenance-free and non-porous — Carrara's timeless white without the sealing and staining concerns of the real stone.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Carrara

What does CRL Quartz Carrara look like?
CRL Quartz Carrara is a tribute to the world's most iconic white marble from the mountains of Tuscany. Its very pale warm white-cream base carries an extremely fine, barely visible scatter of light grey micro-flecks — at normal distance it reads as a warm, clean white with just the subtlest hint of natural texture. It is warmer in tone than cool whites like Clear White or Polar White, sitting closer to a classic marble cream-white than a bright commercial white.
Is there a difference between CRL Quartz Carrara and Calacatta?
Yes — CRL Quartz Carrara and Calacatta are quite different in character. Calacatta features bold, prominent grey veins on a bright white base, creating a high-contrast dramatic composition. Carrara, by contrast, is exceptionally restrained — its ground is warmer and creamier, and its texture extremely fine and subtle. Carrara gives the impression of a very fine, natural white stone; Calacatta makes a strong marble statement. Carrara is the quieter, softer choice.
What kitchen styles suit CRL Quartz Carrara?
CRL Quartz Carrara's warm cream-white tone suits traditional, classic, and farmhouse kitchen designs where warmth and restraint are valued over bold drama. It pairs beautifully with painted or handmade cream and white cabinetry, stone flooring, and warm brass hardware. For contemporary kitchens where a warm white is preferred over a stark bright white, Carrara provides the ideal solution.
Does CRL Quartz Carrara require any special maintenance?
No — CRL Quartz Carrara requires no more maintenance than any other surface in the CRL Quartz range. It is completely non-porous and never needs sealing. Daily cleaning requires only a damp cloth and mild detergent. The polished surface is highly stain-resistant, making it far more practical in a working kitchen than natural Carrara marble, which is notoriously porous and prone to etching.
What thickness and slab size is CRL Quartz Carrara available in?
CRL Quartz Carrara is available in standard CRL slab format (3200 × 1600mm) in 20mm and 30mm thicknesses. The slab size provides excellent coverage for most kitchen worktop configurations including islands, peninsulas, and long galley layouts.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
