The Stone

See the natural beauty of Forest up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Brown Dark Brown

Rich deep chocolate brown quartz — a warm, earthy dark surface entirely unique in the CRL Quartz collection.

CRL Quartz Forest stands apart from every other surface in the CRL collection — a deep, rich warm brown that sits between dark chocolate and raw earth, offering a colour option found in no other stone in the range. The ground is almost entirely plain, with only the most subtle natural variation in the dark warm brown — just enough to give the surface genuine material depth without introducing pattern or distraction. In a kitchen, Forest creates a bold, grounding aesthetic that pairs magnificently with cream cabinetry, brass hardware, and natural stone tiles for a warmly layered, nature-connected interior. Non-porous and maintenance-free — one of the most distinctive choices in quartz.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Forest

What colour is CRL Quartz Forest?
CRL Quartz Forest is a deep, rich warm brown — a dark chocolatey brown that sits between dark coffee and raw earth. It is the only deep warm-brown surface in the CRL Quartz range, making it genuinely unique in the collection. The surface is almost entirely plain with only the most subtle natural variation in the dark brown ground that prevents it from being completely flat.
What kitchen styles suit Forest?
CRL Quartz Forest is a natural fit for warm, earthy interior schemes — traditional farmhouse kitchens with cream Aga cookers, cream painted cabinetry, and terracotta or slate flooring, as well as contemporary kitchens with a strong connection to natural materials. It pairs particularly well with unlacquered brass taps, copper cookware, and warm wood cutting boards that share its earthy brown warmth.
Does CRL Quartz Forest scratch easily?
No — CRL Quartz Forest has the same excellent scratch resistance as all CRL Quartz surfaces (rating 4/5). As an engineered quartz, it is significantly harder than natural stone and highly resistant to scratching from normal kitchen use. Cutting directly on the surface is not recommended (a chopping board should always be used), but the material can withstand everyday contact with utensils without scratching.
What hardware colours work with Forest?
CRL Quartz Forest's warm, chocolatey brown makes it one of the most distinctive surfaces to design around. Brass and copper hardware in both polished and aged finishes harmonise naturally with the deep warm tone. For a more contemporary look, brushed black or matte black hardware creates a strong contrast against the brown ground. Stainless steel works well in more commercial or industrial-inspired settings.
Is Forest suitable for bathroom use?
Yes — CRL Quartz Forest can be used in bathroom vanities and shower settings, though its deep warm brown tone is most naturally at home in warm, maximalist bathroom schemes rather than lighter, spa-like designs. Its non-porous composition makes it perfectly practical and hygienic in wet areas. No sealing is required.

"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
