The Stone

See the natural beauty of Bianco Shimmer up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Style:

Solid Sparkle Minimal

Bright white quartz with sparse fine translucent shimmer flecks — a clean, subtly luminous solid surface.

Nilestone Bianco Shimmer adds the gentlest luminous quality to pure white quartz. Its bright white base has no veining or directional pattern — just uniform sparse distribution of very fine granular flecks in translucent white and very light grey. The polished finish showcases a subtle even sheen across the surface. Bianco Shimmer is the quietest shimmer design — the translucent flecks are so subtle they create an overall luminosity rather than visible sparkle. It's white quartz that glows rather than glitters. Engineered from 93% natural quartz with polymer resins. Non-porous, scratch resistant (Mohs 7), NSF and Greenguard certified. 15-year warranty. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Bianco Shimmer

What does Nilestone Bianco Shimmer look like?
Bianco Shimmer has a bright white base with sparse fine translucent white and light grey flecks. No veining or pattern. Polished with subtle even sheen. A clean, subtly luminous solid surface — white quartz that glows quietly rather than glittering or sparkling.
How does Shimmer compare to Bianco Starlight?
Both are white with inclusions but fundamentally different. Starlight has dense dark grey-to-black speckles — visible contrast on white. Shimmer has sparse translucent white flecks — barely visible, creating luminosity. Starlight has obvious texture; Shimmer has almost imperceptible glow. Different subtlety levels.
Is the shimmer visible?
The shimmer is very subtle — translucent flecks on a white base means the contrast is minimal. The effect is an overall luminous quality rather than visible individual sparkle points. Under direct or angled lighting the flecks become more apparent. It's the most understated shimmer design in the range.
What cabinetry suits Bianco Shimmer?
The near-plain white base is the ultimate neutral canvas. White creates clean purity. Any coloured cabinetry uses the white worktop as a foundation. Natural timber adds warmth. The subtle shimmer adds just enough quality to distinguish the surface from plain white without introducing pattern.
How does this compare to Snow White?
Snow White is absolute pure white — no inclusions, no texture, no shimmer. Bianco Shimmer has sparse translucent flecks adding subtle luminosity. Snow White is clinical purity; Shimmer is quiet luxury. The flecks give Shimmer a fractionally warmer, more material quality.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
