The Stone

See the natural beauty of Concrete Earth up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

Greige Grey Taupe

Light warm greige quartz with diffuse mottled patches and fine granular texture — a refined, warmly earthy surface.

Nilestone Concrete Earth shifts the concrete aesthetic from cool industrial to warm organic. Its very light warm greige base carries a diffuse organic pattern of mottled patches and blotches in slightly deeper medium warm grey or taupe-grey, randomly distributed without defined direction. Consistent very fine granular texture is visible across the entire surface. The matte or honed finish has no strong specular reflections. Where Concrete Oyster is cool grey, Concrete Earth is warm greige — bringing the concrete aesthetic into warmer kitchen schemes. The taupe-grey mottling prevents flatness while maintaining the quiet, unpatterned character. Engineered from 93% natural quartz with polymer resins. Non-porous, scratch resistant (Mohs 7), NSF and Greenguard certified. 15-year warranty. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Concrete Earth

What does Nilestone Concrete Earth look like?
Concrete Earth has a light warm greige base with diffuse mottled patches in warm grey and taupe-grey. Fine granular texture throughout. Matte or honed finish. A warmly earthy concrete surface — same quiet industrial character as Concrete Oyster but shifted to a warm greige palette.
What is greige?
Greige is the blend of grey and beige — a warm neutral that sits between cool grey and warm beige. It's extremely versatile because it bridges warm and cool colour schemes. Concrete Earth's greige base means it works with both warm timber and cool grey design elements without feeling out of place.
How does Concrete Earth compare to Oyster?
Same concrete concept, different temperature. Oyster is cool grey — suits industrial and contemporary cool schemes. Earth is warm greige — suits Scandinavian, rustic, and warm contemporary schemes. Both have matte finishes and fine granular texture. The choice depends on whether your kitchen leans warm or cool.
What cabinetry suits Concrete Earth?
Natural timber is the perfect partner — the warm greige and warm timber create cohesive organic warmth. Cream and warm white work harmoniously. Dark timber creates sophisticated contrast. The warm base means warm-toned hardware — brushed brass or bronze — feels more natural than chrome.
Can Concrete Earth be used for bathroom vanities?
Ideal — the warm, earthy character creates a spa-like bathroom with a relaxed, organic feel. The matte finish suits bathroom aesthetics. Non-porous quartz handles moisture and toiletries. The subtle, understated pattern works well in smaller bathroom spaces without overwhelming them.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
