The Stone

See the natural beauty of Orion up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

A soft white quartz with faint, ghostly grey veining — gentle marble character in its purest form.

Orion is a soft, bright white quartz with the gentlest suggestion of grey veining — delicate cloud-like wisps that give the surface just enough natural movement to feel alive without ever becoming busy or distracting. The grey filaments are fine and understated, forming rounded formations with occasional faint blue-grey hints that add a subtle coolness. The overall impression is predominantly white with the quietest marble undertone, making Orion an excellent choice for anyone who wants the character of marble without the visual weight. Part of the Radianz Noble collection and currently on sale through Cullifords, this surface is manufactured by LOTTE Chemical from 93% natural quartz. The non-porous composition means it never needs sealing, resists all household stains, and scores Mohs 7 for scratch resistance. The 15-year residential warranty provides long-term confidence. Orion works beautifully in bright, airy kitchen designs where a clean white surface with a touch of personality sets the foundation.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Orion

How does Orion differ from Antique Green and Lucern Lake?
All three are white surfaces with grey veining, but they sit on a spectrum of vein intensity. Antique Green has the lightest, most ghostly veining. Orion sits in the middle — its grey veining is slightly more defined than Antique Green but still very gentle and soft. Lucern Lake has the most visible veining of the three, with clearly defined grey clusters. Choose based on how much marble character you want.
Is Orion a warm white or a cool white?
Orion is a clean, bright white that leans slightly cool — the faint grey veining has an occasional blue-grey hint that reinforces the cool character. It does not have the warm, creamy cast of Carola or Royal Marfil. If your kitchen uses cool-toned grey or white cabinetry with chrome fixtures, Orion will integrate seamlessly.
Is Orion currently available at a reduced price?
Yes — Orion is one of several Radianz products currently offered on sale through Cullifords, the UK distributor. This makes it an excellent-value option for homeowners who want a refined white marble-look quartz without paying premium prices. Contact us for current availability and pricing.
What thickness options are available for Orion?
Like all Radianz products, Orion is available in both 20mm and 30mm thicknesses. The 20mm option is popular for contemporary, slim-profile installations and splashbacks, while 30mm delivers a more substantial edge with traditional appeal. Both thicknesses offer identical performance characteristics — the choice is purely aesthetic.
Can Orion be used seamlessly with an undermount sink?
Yes — undermount sinks are one of the most popular sink installation methods with quartz worktops. The fabricator will cut the aperture from the underside of the slab, leaving a smooth, polished edge around the sink opening. This creates a seamless look where the worktop flows uninterrupted over the sink, making cleaning easier and giving the kitchen a sleek, modern finish.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
