The Stone

See the natural beauty of Toluca Sand up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

A warm sand-beige quartz with fine, uniform texture — natural warmth and earthy versatility.

Toluca Sand brings a warm, natural sand-beige tone to the Radianz range, with a fine-grained, speckled texture that creates a gentle, organic character. The consistent mid-tone sits between beige and taupe with distinctly earthy undertones, while very fine darker flecks distributed evenly throughout provide just enough visual detail to prevent the surface from looking flat. No veining, no patterns, no bold features — just a calm, homogeneous surface that radiates warmth. Part of the Radianz Noble collection and currently on sale through Cullifords, this surface is manufactured by LOTTE Chemical from 93% natural quartz. The completely non-porous composition means zero maintenance — never needs sealing, waxing, or any special treatment. With Mohs 7 hardness and full stain resistance, Toluca Sand is built to handle the demands of busy family kitchens. Backed by a 15-year residential warranty, it pairs beautifully with both contemporary and rustic design schemes — warm oak cabinetry, natural stone floor tiles, and soft white walls create a particularly inviting combination.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Toluca Sand

What colour is Toluca Sand best described as?
Toluca Sand is a warm, mid-tone beige-taupe — think of the colour of dry, sun-warmed sand with earthy undertones. It sits between cream and light brown on the colour spectrum, with a distinctly warm, natural character. The surface has a fine-grained, speckled texture that reinforces the sandstone-like quality.
Is Toluca Sand too warm-toned for a modern white kitchen?
It depends on the shade of white. Toluca Sand complements warm whites and off-whites beautifully, creating a natural, organic palette. Against stark, cool white cabinetry, the warm beige-taupe can create a noticeable contrast that some find appealing and others find jarring. For cool-toned modern kitchens, Columbia Grey or Mystic Platinum may be more harmonious.
Does Toluca Sand scratch or mark easily in daily use?
The Mohs 7 hardness rating means Toluca Sand resists casual scratching well — household items, crockery, and normal kitchen activities will not damage the surface. The warm beige colour and fine speckled texture are also very forgiving visually, concealing minor marks far better than dark or solid-coloured surfaces would.
Can Toluca Sand be used for outdoor kitchen worktops?
Radianz quartz, including Toluca Sand, is recommended for indoor use only. The polymer resin component can be affected by prolonged direct UV sunlight exposure, which may cause the colour to fade or shift over time. For outdoor kitchen and BBQ areas, we recommend UV-resistant sintered stone or porcelain surfaces instead.
What style of kitchen does Toluca Sand suit best?
Toluca Sand thrives in natural, earthy kitchen designs — think rustic farmhouse, Mediterranean, or Scandi-warm aesthetics. It pairs beautifully with terracotta floor tiles, natural oak cabinetry, olive green or sage accents, and woven natural textures. The warm, sandstone-like character creates an inviting, lived-in atmosphere that feels connected to the natural world.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
