The Stone

See the natural beauty of Calacatta Mystic up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Gold Brown Grey

Bright white quartz with bold golden-brown and sepia marble veining — a luxurious through-body calacatta design.

Sempre Calacatta Mystic from the Printed Full Body range is the most opulently warm design in the entire collection. Its bright white base is adorned with dramatic, flowing diagonal veining in moderate to dense warm golden-brown and deep sepia tones that often appear solid and opaque. Interspersed finer, more translucent light to mid-grey veins create a dynamic organic network alongside the dominant warm tones. The highly polished finish has a strong reflective quality that amplifies the golden warmth and luxurious depth of the sepia-toned veining. As a Printed Full Body design, this richly warm pattern runs through the entire slab thickness for authentic through-body character at exposed edges. Calacatta Mystic is unashamedly luxurious — it's the centrepiece surface. Manufactured by AKG Surfaces with a 25-year warranty. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Calacatta Mystic

What does Sempre Calacatta Mystic look like?
Calacatta Mystic has a bright white base with dramatic diagonal veining in warm golden-brown and deep sepia that appears solid and opaque. Finer translucent grey veins interweave throughout. The highly polished finish has strong reflective quality. It's the most opulently warm, luxuriously veined design in the Sempre collection, with through-body patterning.
How does Mystic compare to Calacatta Aspen?
Both are Printed Full Body designs on white bases, but they differ dramatically in warmth. Aspen has primarily cool grey-charcoal veining with subtle gold accents — it's balanced and composed. Mystic has dominant warm golden-brown and deep sepia veining — it's richly warm and unashamedly luxurious. Mystic is the warm, opulent choice; Aspen is the cooler, structured alternative.
What is the sepia colour?
Sepia is a rich, warm brown tone — deeper than gold but warmer than chocolate. In Calacatta Mystic, the sepia appears in the bolder vein formations where the golden-brown deepens, creating areas of intense warmth and depth. Under warm lighting, the sepia tones glow beautifully. It's a colour that adds genuine luxury to the marble pattern.
What cabinetry suits Calacatta Mystic?
The rich golden-brown palette pairs beautifully with cream, warm white, and natural walnut cabinetry. Brushed gold hardware is the natural choice. Deep espresso or dark green units create a rich, enveloping scheme. The warm tones demand warm accompaniments — avoid cool blue-grey schemes that would clash with the golden-sepia character.
Does the through-body pattern work on waterfall edges?
Spectacularly. The bold, warm veining flowing continuously from horizontal worktop to vertical waterfall edge creates one of the most dramatic island features available. The Printed Full Body technology ensures the golden-brown pattern is visible at every exposed edge, making waterfall installations look genuinely like a continuous block of natural marble.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
