The Stone

See the natural beauty of Lux Grey up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Colour:

White Grey Charcoal Brown

Bright white quartz with dense swirling grey-charcoal veining — a bold, high-contrast through-body marble design.

Sempre Lux Grey from the Printed Full Body range delivers the most intensely dynamic marble pattern in the collection. Its bright white base is covered by extensive, dense veining that moves diagonally with numerous swirls and branching lines. The veining varies from fine thread-like tendrils to bold broader formations in cool mid-greys and darker charcoal greys, with subtle hints of warm brown-grey adding occasional depth. The polished finish is smooth and reflective, amplifying the high-contrast interplay between the bright white base and the dense grey-charcoal veining. The swirling, branching movement creates genuine visual energy — this is marble at its most theatrical and commanding. As a Printed Full Body design, the dramatic veining runs through the entire slab thickness. Manufactured by AKG Surfaces with a 25-year warranty. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Lux Grey

What does Sempre Lux Grey look like?
Lux Grey has a bright white base with extensive, dense diagonal veining featuring swirls and branching lines in cool mid-grey to darker charcoal with subtle warm brown-grey hints. The veining varies from fine tendrils to bold formations. The polished finish is smooth and reflective. It's the most intensely dynamic, high-contrast marble pattern in the Printed Full Body range.
How does Lux Grey compare to Bianco Eclipsia?
Both are Printed Full Body designs with grey veining on white bases, but they differ in movement. Eclipsia has fractured, patchy veining with granular texture in the grey areas — more static and geological. Lux Grey has swirling, branching veining with flowing movement — more dynamic and theatrical. Eclipsia is fractured and raw; Lux Grey is flowing and energetic.
Is such bold veining suitable for small kitchens?
Bold, dynamic veining can actually work well in smaller kitchens — it creates visual interest and a sense of luxury even in compact spaces. However, in very small galley kitchens, a less busy design might feel more comfortable. In2Stone provides samples and can help you visualise the pattern in your specific kitchen dimensions.
What design elements complement Lux Grey?
Simple, clean design elements work best alongside the dramatic worktop. White or dark charcoal handleless cabinetry avoids visual competition. Matt black or brushed chrome hardware complements the cool grey palette. Keep splashbacks plain. Let the Lux Grey worktop command attention as the kitchen's signature feature.
Does the through-body veining extend to the edges?
Yes — as a Printed Full Body design, the grey-charcoal veining pattern runs through the entire thickness of the slab. This means cut edges, mitred corners, and waterfall features show the same dramatic veining as the surface. For Lux Grey's particularly bold pattern, this through-body quality makes a dramatic impact on waterfall island installations.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
