The Stone

See the natural beauty of Taj Mahal Supreme up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Warm off-white quartz with brown-grey taupe veining and crystalline depth — a richly textured through-body marble surface.

Sempre Taj Mahal Supreme from the Printed Full Body range takes the Taj Mahal concept into more structured, classically veined territory. Its very light, warm off-white base with subtle grey undertones carries moderate to dense veining in both broader cloudy movements and finer fractured thread-like patterns. The prominent veining runs diagonally with some horizontal flow in warm brown-grey leaning towards taupe. The polished finish reveals a subtle internal crystalline-like texture within the lighter areas, adding depth beneath the surface veining. Supreme has more conventional marble movement than its sibling — more structured, more assertively veined, with significant visual energy. As a Printed Full Body design, the taupe veining runs through the entire slab thickness. Manufactured by AKG Surfaces with a 25-year warranty. Available in jumbo 3200 × 1600mm slabs with 20mm or 30mm thicknesses. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Taj Mahal Supreme

What does Sempre Taj Mahal Supreme look like?
Taj Mahal Supreme has a warm off-white base with subtle grey undertones, carrying moderate to dense veining in warm brown-grey taupe. The veining combines broader cloudy movements with finer fractured patterns, flowing diagonally with some horizontal flow. The polished finish reveals crystalline texture in lighter areas. It's a richly textured, classically veined marble-effect.
What is the crystalline texture?
Within the lighter areas of the surface, a subtle internal texture resembling crystallised mineral formations is visible beneath the polished finish. This crystalline quality adds depth — the surface appears to have internal structure rather than being a flat, printed pattern. It's most visible under direct lighting and at certain viewing angles.
How does Supreme compare to Taj Mahal?
Taj Mahal is more ethereal — translucent, gemstone-like, with cloud-like internal formations and a single anchoring vein. Supreme is more structured — defined veining in warm taupe with both broad and fractured patterns creating conventional marble movement. Taj Mahal glows from within; Supreme has traditional marble authority.
What kitchen styles suit Taj Mahal Supreme?
The warm taupe veining and crystalline depth suit transitional, classic, and warm contemporary kitchens. Cream and warm grey cabinetry continue the warm palette. Natural timber adds earthy depth. Brushed bronze or brass hardware complements the taupe tones. The warm, sophisticated character creates inviting kitchens with genuine visual interest.
What advantage does through-body patterning offer?
The Printed Full Body technology means the taupe veining runs through the entire slab thickness. Cut edges, mitred corners, and waterfall features show the same warm marble character as the surface. This eliminates the white-edge problem common with surface-only printed quartz, creating a more authentic marble appearance from every angle.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
