The Stone

See the natural beauty of Calacatta Tova up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Warm cream base with delicate taupe veining that drifts in soft horizontal waves across the slab.

Silestone Calacatta Tova wraps warm cream tones around fine, wandering veins in soft taupe and muted grey-brown. The veining moves predominantly horizontally with gentle diagonal branches, creating a quietly flowing pattern rather than the bold drama of more heavily veined Calacatta interpretations. A subtle granular depth sits beneath the polished surface, giving the slab a warmth that reads as natural stone without any harsh contrast. What sets Calacatta Tova apart within the Ethereal collection is its restraint. The vein structure is present and interesting but never fights for attention — the creamy base remains the dominant visual. Broader cloudy areas blend softly into the background, while finer thread-like lines add just enough detail to hold the eye. It suits kitchens and bathrooms where you want marble character without the surface commanding every conversation. Part of Silestone's Hybriq+® range, Calacatta Tova is manufactured in Almería, Spain using minimum 20% recycled materials and 100% renewable energy. Non-porous and stain-resistant with no sealing required. Available in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Calacatta Tova

What colour is Silestone Calacatta Tova in person?
Calacatta Tova reads as a warm cream rather than a bright white. The base has a soft, buttery warmth to it, and the veining is a muted taupe-grey — quite understated compared to bolder Calacatta designs. In natural light the cream tones come through more strongly, while under artificial light it can appear slightly lighter.
How does Calacatta Tova compare to natural Calacatta marble?
The veining pattern echoes natural Calacatta marble with its flowing horizontal movement and branching lines, but Tova is deliberately softer and more muted. Natural Calacatta typically has much higher contrast between the white base and the grey or gold veining. Tova gives you the marble character without the drama — plus it requires no sealing and carries a 25-year warranty.
What kitchen cabinet colours work best with Calacatta Tova?
The warm cream base pairs beautifully with muted greens, soft greys, and warm wood-effect cabinetry. It also works with classic white shaker cabinets where you want the worktop to add subtle warmth rather than matching a cool white throughout. Brass or brushed gold hardware complements the taupe tones in the veining particularly well.
Is the veining in Calacatta Tova consistent across the whole slab?
As an engineered Hybriq+® surface, the veining pattern is consistent and repeatable — unlike natural marble where every slab differs. The horizontal flow and fine thread-like veins remain uniform across the 327 × 159 cm jumbo slab, which means your kitchen island and surrounding worktops will match perfectly when fabricated by our team.
Does Calacatta Tova need any special maintenance?
No special maintenance at all. Calacatta Tova is completely non-porous, so it never needs sealing. Daily cleaning is simply a wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn marks like dried limescale, a gentle anti-limescale product works well. Avoid abrasive scourers and always use trivets under hot pans.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
