The Stone

See the natural beauty of Concrete Pulse up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Uniform light cool grey with fine dense speckling in varied tones for a smooth matte concrete aesthetic.

Silestone Concrete Pulse delivers a clean, light cool grey surface with no veining or directional pattern. The interest comes entirely from a fine, dense speckling of minute flecks scattered randomly across the matte surface — very pale off-white, various shades of darker grey, and subtle warm brown-grey tones all contribute to a surface that reads as concrete-inspired while maintaining the refined consistency that only an engineered surface can achieve. The matte finish is central to the design. Without reflections or polish, Concrete Pulse absorbs light and sits quietly within a room, creating an understated backdrop for surrounding design elements. The speckling is tight and consistent enough that from standing height the surface appears homogeneous; the individual flecks reveal themselves at closer range. It is industrial in inspiration but refined in execution. Part of Silestone's Urban Crush collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain with Hybriq+® technology. Minimum 20% recycled content, 100% renewable energy, 99% recycled water. Non-porous despite the matte finish — no sealing required. Available in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Concrete Pulse

What does Silestone Concrete Pulse look like?
Concrete Pulse is a uniform light cool grey with fine, dense speckling in various tones — pale off-white, darker grey, and subtle warm brown-grey. There is no veining or pattern movement. The matte finish gives it a smooth, concrete-inspired appearance. From a distance it reads as a clean, even grey; close up you can see the individual flecks that add texture and depth.
What kitchen styles work with Concrete Pulse?
Concrete Pulse excels in industrial, Scandinavian, and modern minimalist kitchens. It pairs naturally with white handleless cabinets, light timber in oak or birch, and matte black or stainless steel hardware. For bolder schemes, dark navy or charcoal cabinets create a strong urban aesthetic. The matte grey also works well alongside metro tiles and exposed brick.
Is Concrete Pulse better than real concrete worktops?
In performance terms, significantly. Real concrete is porous, requires regular sealing, can crack under stress, and stains readily from wine, oil, and coffee. Concrete Pulse is non-porous, never needs sealing, will not crack, and nothing can stain it. You get the concrete look with none of the concrete problems — plus a 25-year warranty.
Where is Concrete Pulse manufactured?
Manufactured by Cosentino in Almería, Spain using Hybriq+® technology. The composition includes minimum 20% recycled materials and production runs on 100% renewable electricity with 99% recycled water. It carries NSF food safety certification.
How do I clean the matte finish on Concrete Pulse?
Daily cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent is all that is needed. The matte finish hides fingerprints and water marks far better than polished surfaces, so you do not need to buff dry after cleaning. For stubborn dried marks, a soft brush with non-abrasive cleaner works well. No sealing is ever required.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
