The Stone

See the natural beauty of Coral Clay up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Warm mid-grey base with beige undertones and dense off-white aggregate speckling in matte terrazzo-like texture.

Silestone Coral Clay takes a warm mid-grey base with subtle beige undertones and covers it with a moderately dense aggregate pattern. Fine-to-medium speckles and irregular rounded shapes in off-white to very light cream are interspersed with subtle darker greyish-brown particles that blend seamlessly into the background. The overall effect is of a refined, aggregate-textured surface — somewhere between terrazzo and natural stone. The matte or honed finish reinforces the earthy, grounded character. Without reflections or polish, Coral Clay absorbs light and sits quietly in a room, letting its textural quality speak through touch and close-range viewing rather than visual drama. The warm grey-beige palette makes it one of the most versatile neutrals in the collection — neither too cool nor too warm, neither too dark nor too light. Part of Silestone's Urban Crush collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain with Hybriq+® technology. Minimum 20% recycled content, 100% renewable energy. Non-porous despite the matte finish, stain-resistant, no sealing required. Supplied in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Coral Clay

What does Coral Clay look like — is it a terrazzo effect?
Coral Clay has terrazzo-like qualities but is subtler. The warm mid-grey base is covered with fine-to-medium off-white and cream speckles alongside darker greyish-brown particles. The aggregate pattern is refined rather than bold — smaller-scale than typical terrazzo with lower contrast. The matte finish adds to the understated, earthy character.
What kitchen designs complement Coral Clay?
Coral Clay's warm neutral palette works in a wide range of kitchen styles — modern minimalist, Scandinavian, industrial, and relaxed contemporary. The warm grey-beige tone pairs with white cabinets, natural timber, warm grey cabinetry, and muted greens. Matte black or brushed brass hardware both complement the surface. The aggregate pattern adds texture without demanding attention.
How practical is the matte finish for daily use?
Extremely practical. The matte finish hides fingerprints and water marks far more effectively than polished surfaces. The aggregate speckling also masks crumbs and minor kitchen residue. Coral Clay's warm mid-grey colour is one of the most forgiving tones for busy kitchens — it shows neither light nor dark marks prominently.
Where is Coral Clay produced?
Manufactured by Cosentino in Almería, Spain using Hybriq+® technology. The composition includes minimum 20% recycled materials and production uses 100% renewable electricity. Coral Clay is part of the Urban Crush collection and carries NSF food safety certification.
Does Coral Clay need any special maintenance?
No special maintenance whatsoever. Wipe daily with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The matte texture means no buffing dry is needed — streaks simply do not form. The non-porous surface never needs sealing. For stubborn marks, a soft brush and non-abrasive cleaner work well.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
