The Stone

See the natural beauty of Et Calacatta Gold up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Bright white base with flowing cool grey veining interwoven with fine golden-beige accents for marble elegance.

Silestone Et Calacatta Gold captures the essence of natural Calacatta marble with its bright white base and dynamic diagonal veining. The primary veining is a light, cool grey with an almost translucent quality, ranging from fine thread-like lines to broader diffused patterns that flow organically across the slab. Interwoven throughout are sparse but distinct fine lines of warm golden-beige — the gold that gives this surface its name and its warmth. The polished finish is smooth and refined, enhancing both the flowing grey veining and the golden accents. The cool white base provides a clean canvas that lets the dual-tone veining command attention. Et Calacatta Gold achieves a balance between the cool formality of grey veining and the warmth of golden accents, creating a surface that feels both classical and contemporary. Part of Silestone's Eternal collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain with Hybriq+® technology. Minimum 20% recycled materials, 100% renewable energy, 99% recycled water. Non-porous, stain-resistant, NSF and Greenguard certified. Supplied in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Et Calacatta Gold

How much gold is visible in Et Calacatta Gold?
The golden-beige accents are present but sparse — fine lines interwoven with the more prominent cool grey veining. The gold adds warmth to what would otherwise be a purely grey-and-white surface. Under warm lighting the golden tones become more apparent; under cool lighting the grey veining dominates. The gold is an accent, not a dominant feature.
What kitchen cabinets complement Et Calacatta Gold?
The dual-tone veining gives you flexibility. White cabinets create a classic marble-kitchen look. Warm wood tones complement the golden accents. Navy or charcoal cabinets make the white worktop pop. Brass hardware echoes the warm golden veining, while chrome suits the cool grey tones. Et Calacatta Gold works with both warm and cool colour schemes.
Is Et Calacatta Gold resistant to kitchen staining?
Completely. The non-porous Hybriq+® composition means liquids cannot penetrate the bright white base. Red wine, coffee, turmeric, and cooking oils all wipe away cleanly. Unlike natural Calacatta Gold marble, which stains readily and requires regular sealing, this engineered surface needs no maintenance beyond daily wiping.
Where is Et Calacatta Gold manufactured?
Manufactured by Cosentino in Almería, Spain. The Hybriq+® production uses minimum 20% recycled materials, 100% renewable electricity, and 99% recycled water. Et Calacatta Gold is part of the Eternal collection — Silestone's signature marble-effect range.
What cleaning routine suits Et Calacatta Gold?
Wipe daily with a damp microfibre cloth and mild soap. The polished white surface benefits from prompt attention to coloured spills. For stubborn dried marks, a dilute bleach solution or Q-Action cleaner works safely without affecting the veining or base colour. Avoid abrasive pads. Always use trivets under hot pans.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
