The Stone

See the natural beauty of Ethereal Haze up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Bright white base with dense dark charcoal web-like veining and cloudy grey bands for striking marble character.

Silestone Ethereal Haze fills its bright white base with a dense, intricate network of dark charcoal-grey veining that creates a shattered or web-like effect across the entire slab. Fine thread-like veins traverse the surface randomly and diagonally, while bolder diffused bands of cloudy light grey incorporate aggregations of darker veins, adding significant depth and movement. The density of patterning gives Ethereal Haze one of the most visually active surfaces in the collection. The polished finish is smooth and reflective with no speckling or granular texture — the visual complexity comes entirely from the veining network. The high contrast between the bright white base and the dark charcoal veining creates a surface with genuine drama. Ethereal Haze channels the character of heavily veined Italian marble — Arabescato or Statuario Venato — with the consistent quality and performance of engineered stone. Part of Silestone's Ethereal collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain with Hybriq+® technology. Minimum 20% recycled content, 100% renewable energy. Non-porous, stain-resistant, NSF certified. Supplied in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Ethereal Haze

How busy is the pattern on Ethereal Haze?
Ethereal Haze is one of the most visually active surfaces in the Silestone range. The white base is densely covered with dark charcoal-grey veining in a web-like pattern, punctuated by bolder cloudy grey bands. From across a room it reads as a dramatically veined marble; up close the intricate network of fine and bold veins reveals genuine complexity. It is a surface that demands attention.
What kitchen designs can handle Ethereal Haze?
The dramatic veining needs space and simplicity around it. White or light grey handleless cabinets provide breathing room, while the worktop becomes the centrepiece. Avoid busy backsplashes, patterned tiles, or competing textures. A large island is the ideal showcase for Ethereal Haze, where the dense veining can flow across an uninterrupted surface.
Is Ethereal Haze scratch and stain resistant?
Yes. Ethereal Haze has the same Hybriq+® performance as all Silestone surfaces — high scratch resistance, complete stain resistance, and acid resistance. The bright white base can show coloured spills more visibly than darker surfaces, but the non-porous composition means nothing can penetrate or stain permanently.
Where is Ethereal Haze manufactured?
Manufactured by Cosentino in Almería, southern Spain using Hybriq+® technology with minimum 20% recycled materials and 100% renewable electricity. The Ethereal collection represents Silestone's most design-forward range, and Haze is among its most characterful surfaces.
Does Ethereal Haze require special maintenance?
No special maintenance. Wipe daily with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The polished finish benefits from occasional buffing with a dry microfibre cloth. For coloured spills on the white base, prompt wiping prevents any temporary residue. Use trivets under hot pans and avoid abrasive cleaners.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
