The Stone

See the natural beauty of Halcyon up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Off-white base threaded with a fine dense network of pale taupe veining for a quiet marble character.

Silestone Halcyon presents an off-white base shot through with a moderate-to-dense network of fine, thread-like veining in very light warm grey and pale taupe. The veining is randomly distributed across the entire slab rather than following any directional sweep, creating a soft, all-over texture that reads as subtle marble patterning without the drama of bold vein structures. The polished finish is smooth with no speckling, flecking, or granular texture beneath the surface — just clean veining against a clean base. From a standing distance Halcyon reads as a warm off-white with gentle movement; up close the intricate vein network reveals itself. It belongs to the Nebula collection and works well as a kitchen worktop where you want marble character that does not overwhelm the surrounding design. Manufactured in Almería, Spain using Cosentino's Hybriq+® technology with minimum 20% recycled materials and 100% renewable energy. Non-porous, stain-resistant, NSF and Greenguard certified. Supplied in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Fabricated and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Halcyon

What does Silestone Halcyon actually look like in a kitchen?
Halcyon reads as a warm off-white with a gentle all-over texture. The fine veining in pale taupe is visible but soft — it adds visual interest without creating strong contrast. In a kitchen setting it provides a calm, marble-inspired backdrop that lets cabinetry and hardware choices stand out. Under natural light the warm grey tones come through; under artificial light it appears brighter.
What kitchen styles work best with Halcyon?
Halcyon is versatile enough for both contemporary and traditional kitchens. In modern handleless kitchens it provides organic texture against clean cabinetry lines. In Shaker-style kitchens the soft marble character complements panelled doors without competing for attention. It pairs particularly well with warm whites, soft greys, and muted sage or duck egg blue cabinets.
How durable is Silestone Halcyon for a busy family kitchen?
Halcyon is built for daily use. The Hybriq+® composition is highly scratch-resistant, stain-resistant, and acid-resistant. Being non-porous, spilled juice, coffee, or pasta sauce cannot penetrate the surface — just wipe it away. The polished finish holds up well over years of use, and the 25-year warranty provides additional peace of mind.
Where is Silestone Halcyon manufactured?
Halcyon is manufactured by Cosentino at their facility in Almería, southern Spain. The production uses Hybriq+® technology, which incorporates minimum 20% recycled materials and runs on 100% renewable electricity with 99% recycled water. Cosentino has been producing Silestone for over 30 years and supplies more than 100 countries worldwide.
How should I clean and care for Halcyon worktops?
Daily cleaning is simply wiping with a damp microfibre cloth and mild soap or neutral detergent. For tougher marks like dried limescale, apply an anti-limescale product and rub gently. Wine or coffee stains respond well to a dilute bleach solution. Avoid abrasive scourers and always use a trivet under hot pans — while the surface is highly durable, direct heat from a pan base can cause thermal shock.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
