The Stone

See the natural beauty of Lagoon up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Off-white base with dense fine warm-grey veining creating a finely textured mottled character across the slab.

Silestone Lagoon covers its off-white base with a dense, intricate pattern of fine-to-medium veining in pale warm grey. The veins are wavy and randomly distributed, creating a delicate, mottled appearance that reads as finely textured natural stone rather than a conventionally veined marble effect. There is a warmth to the grey undertone that prevents the surface from feeling clinical. The polished finish reflects light with a soft, even sheen, and the sheer density of the patterning gives Lagoon a perceived granularity — a visual texture that adds depth without any raised or rough surface quality. The overall character is consistent and understated: no single vein dominates, no bold sweep commands attention. Instead, the entire slab works as a unified field of quiet, organic movement. Part of the Nebula collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain using Hybriq+® technology with minimum 20% recycled materials and 100% renewable energy. Non-porous, stain-resistant, and NSF certified. Available in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Lagoon

What does Silestone Lagoon look like — is it veined or textured?
Lagoon sits between the two. The surface has dense, fine warm-grey veining spread uniformly across the off-white base, but because the veins are so fine and tightly packed, the overall effect reads more as a mottled texture than distinct veining. From a distance it looks like finely textured natural stone; up close you can trace the individual thread-like veins.
What kitchen cabinet colours work with Lagoon?
Lagoon's warm off-white and grey palette makes it highly adaptable. It pairs naturally with white or pale grey cabinetry for a light, airy kitchen. It also works well with warmer tones — oak, walnut, or warm taupe cabinets complement the grey warmth in the veining. For contrast, navy or deep charcoal cabinets create a sophisticated pairing against the lighter worktop surface.
How does Lagoon hold up in a busy kitchen environment?
Lagoon is engineered for daily kitchen use. The Hybriq+® composition provides high resistance to scratches, stains, and acid. Being non-porous, it never needs sealing and cannot absorb liquids. The dense veining pattern has a practical benefit too — it disguises minor water marks and everyday kitchen residue better than plain white surfaces.
Where is Lagoon manufactured?
Lagoon is manufactured by Cosentino at their production facility in Almería, southern Spain. Cosentino uses Hybriq+® technology with minimum 20% recycled materials, 100% renewable electricity, and 99% recycled water. The facility has been producing Silestone for over 30 years and exports to more than 100 countries.
What daily care does Lagoon need?
Very little. Wipe down with a damp microfibre cloth and mild detergent after use. The non-porous surface means spills cannot soak in, so there is no risk of staining from food or drink. For stubborn dried marks, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid scouring pads and place trivets under hot pans to prevent thermal shock to the polished surface.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
