Silestone Marengo presents a consistent deep charcoal grey across the entire slab — darker than Gris Expo and very close to the bottom of the grey scale without reaching true black. There is no veining, no distinct pattern, and no prominent speckling. On close inspection, a subtle fine granular or stippled texture is visible, and the matte or honed finish prevents any reflectivity. Marengo is the quiet workhorse of dark surfaces. Where Et Noir and Romantic Ash make dramatic statements with their veining, Marengo simply provides a deep, solid dark surface that grounds a kitchen without drawing attention to itself. The fine stippled texture gives it just enough material character to feel like stone rather than paint. It anchors a room through presence and depth rather than pattern.
