The Stone

See the natural beauty of Raw A up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Warm off-white base with horizontal dark-grey veining in gentle waves evoking vein-cut natural stone character.

Silestone Raw A presents a warm off-white to light cream base, subtly mottled with diffuse lighter and darker tones that give the surface a quiet, lived-in warmth. Across this base, dark grey to warm charcoal veining runs predominantly horizontally in gentle waves — fine to medium thread-like lines that create a directional flow reminiscent of vein-cut natural stone. The veining density is moderate, leaving breathing room for the creamy base to come through. The surface is smooth with a polished or honed quality, and there is no speckling or granular texture present. What Raw A offers is simplicity with direction — the horizontal veining creates a sense of calm movement across the worktop that differs from the random, all-over patterning of many marble effects. It feels intentional and grounded, reflecting the earthy philosophy of Silestone's Raw collection. Manufactured in Almería, Spain using Hybriq+® technology with minimum 20% recycled materials and 100% renewable energy. Non-porous, stain-resistant, acid-resistant. Available in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Raw A

What does Silestone Raw A look like?
Raw A has a warm off-white to light cream base with dark grey-charcoal veining running predominantly horizontally across the slab in gentle waves. The veining is fine to medium thickness with moderate density, leaving the warm cream base visible between the veins. The overall effect is of vein-cut natural stone — directional, calm, and organic.
What makes the Raw collection different from other Silestone ranges?
The Raw collection takes an earthy, organic approach to surface design. Raw A has a natural, understated quality with horizontal directional veining that references vein-cut stone — less polished and precise than the marble-effect Eternal collection, and more textural than the clean simplicity of Basiq. It is designed for spaces that prioritise natural warmth over high-impact drama.
Is Raw A suitable for a kitchen island?
Very well suited. The horizontal veining pattern flows naturally along a long island surface, and the jumbo 327 × 159 cm slab format means most islands can be fabricated from a single slab. The directional character actually benefits from larger uninterrupted surfaces where the gentle wave movement can develop across the full length.
Where is Raw A manufactured and what is it made from?
Raw A is produced by Cosentino in Almería, Spain using Hybriq+® technology. The composition blends premium minerals with minimum 20% recycled materials. Manufacturing uses 100% renewable electricity and recycles 99% of process water. It carries NSF and Greenguard certifications.
Does Raw A need any special care or sealing?
No sealing or special care is needed. Raw A is completely non-porous, so liquids cannot penetrate the surface. Clean daily with a damp cloth and mild soap. The horizontal veining and warm cream base hide everyday kitchen marks well. For dried-on stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner applied with a soft cloth. Always use trivets under hot cookware.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
