Silestone Raw D plunges into the dark end of the spectrum with a very deep charcoal grey base that sits close to black. Across this dark ground, a dense pattern of lighter grey and subtle warm brown-grey mottling emerges — a combination of fine web-like veining and irregular broader patches that layer together in roughly horizontal bands. The stratified movement suggests natural geological formation, and the finish is granular and somewhat pitted rather than polished, reinforcing the raw, unprocessed character. This is not a marble effect. Raw D channels the aesthetic of natural slate or dark metamorphic stone, where the interest comes from texture and tonal variation rather than bold veining. The dense patterning means the surface is never flat or monotonous despite its dark colour — lighter grey details and warm brown-grey accents emerge at different angles and in different lighting conditions.
