The Stone

See the natural beauty of Raw G up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this quartz unique.

Style:

Concrete Effect Industrial Matte Textured

Deep charcoal grey surface with diffuse lighter mottling and fine granular texture evoking industrial concrete.

Silestone Raw G takes on a deep charcoal grey base with subtle, diffuse lighter grey mottling and fine spiderweb-like patterns that spread organically with a general horizontal flow. The matte or honed finish is deliberately understated, and a uniformly distributed fine granular texture across the entire surface gives Raw G a tactile, industrial quality that distinguishes it from polished surfaces. The concrete-effect character here is convincing. The combination of the deep grey base, the soft mottling, and the matte granularity creates a surface that reads as refined urban material — cement-inspired but with an evenness and sophistication that raw concrete cannot achieve. The lighter grey patterns are subtle enough that Raw G reads as nearly uniform from a distance, with the mottled detail emerging on closer inspection. Part of Silestone's Raw collection, manufactured in Almería, Spain using Hybriq+® technology. Minimum 20% recycled materials, 100% renewable energy production. Non-porous, stain-resistant, no sealing required despite the matte finish. Available in jumbo 327 × 159 cm slabs with a 25-year warranty. Installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Raw G

Is Silestone Raw G actually a concrete worktop?
No — Raw G is an engineered mineral surface that achieves a convincing concrete aesthetic without any of concrete's practical drawbacks. Real concrete worktops are porous, require sealing, can crack, and stain easily. Raw G is completely non-porous, never needs sealing, and carries a 25-year warranty. You get the industrial look with the performance of engineered quartz.
What design schemes complement Raw G?
Raw G excels in industrial, Scandinavian, and modern minimalist kitchens. Pair it with light timber cabinetry for Scandinavian warmth, matte black fixtures for full industrial commitment, or crisp white cabinets for clean contrast. The deep charcoal tone also works alongside exposed steel shelving, pendant lighting with Edison bulbs, and terrazzo or polished concrete flooring.
Does the matte finish show fingerprints?
Far less than a polished finish. The matte granular texture is one of Raw G's most practical features — fingerprints, water spots, and minor kitchen residue are much less visible than they would be on a glossy dark surface. This makes Raw G genuinely low-maintenance in daily use.
Where is Raw G manufactured?
Raw G is manufactured by Cosentino at their production facility in Almería, southern Spain. The Hybriq+® process uses minimum 20% recycled materials, runs on 100% renewable electricity, and recycles 99% of production water. Cosentino has over 30 years of experience producing Silestone surfaces.
What maintenance does Raw G require?
Daily cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent is all that is needed. The matte finish does not show watermarks like polished surfaces, so you can clean without worrying about buffing dry afterwards. For stubborn marks, use a soft brush and non-abrasive cleaner. The non-porous surface means no sealing is ever required.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
