Macuava quartzite carries the legacy of one of quartzite's most celebrated families. Quarried in the Espírito Santo and Bahia regions of Brazil and part of the renowned Macaubas quartzite family, this beautifully dynamic stone features a luminous white base through which sweeping, flowing formations of soft grey and warm beige-taupe create dramatic, mountainous movement. Delicate veins of deeper grey trace intricate paths through the predominantly white composition, adding layers of visual complexity. The overall impression is one of commanding natural presence — like a panoramic mountain landscape condensed onto a polished surface. With Mohs 7 hardness, good flexural strength, and reliable resistance to scratches, heat, and acid etching, Macuava offers the full quartzite performance package.
