Style:

Terrazzo Effect Textured Aggregate

Light beige sintered stone with angular aggregate fragments — a busy, warmly textured terrazzo-style surface.

Dekton Ava recreates the character of traditional Italian terrazzo in ultracompact sintered stone. Its warm light beige base is densely patterned with randomly distributed angular fragments of varying sizes, from fine flecks to larger several-centimetre pieces. The fragments are primarily off-white and pale cream with some appearing slightly darker warm grey-beige, interspersed with occasional tiny dark brown specks. The soft matte or honed finish reflects light gently, and the granular texture reinforces the aggregate composition. Ava captures the artisan quality of hand-laid terrazzo — each fragment visible as an individual element within the warm matrix. It's a design rooted in centuries of Italian craftsmanship. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Ava

What does Dekton Ava look like?
Ava has a warm light beige base densely patterned with angular fragments in off-white, pale cream, and warm grey-beige, ranging from fine flecks to larger several-centimetre pieces. Occasional tiny dark brown specks add detail. The matte finish has a granular quality. It reads as a warm, artisan terrazzo — busy yet understated.
What is terrazzo?
Terrazzo is a centuries-old Italian flooring technique where fragments of marble, quartz, or glass are set into a cement or resin matrix and polished smooth. Dekton Ava captures this aggregate character using sintered stone technology — achieving the artisan visual quality with the performance benefits of null porosity and extreme durability.
Is the busy pattern practical?
Extremely — terrazzo-style patterns are among the most forgiving for daily use. The dense mix of fragment sizes and warm tones effectively hides crumbs, water marks, and minor wear. The matte finish further reduces fingerprint visibility. For families wanting a worry-free surface with genuine character, Ava excels.
What cabinetry suits Ava?
The warm, artisan character pairs beautifully with natural timber, cream, and warm white cabinetry. For a Mediterranean feel, terracotta and brass accents complement the warm beige tones. Dark cabinetry creates sophisticated contrast while letting the textured surface provide visual interest. The busy pattern means cabinetry can be kept simple.
Can Ava be used for flooring and worktops together?
Yes — Dekton is available in multiple thicknesses suited to both applications. Using Ava for both worktops and flooring creates a cohesive, continuous design. This is a classic terrazzo approach — traditionally used across floors and surfaces. Dekton's Grip+ finish is available for areas requiring slip resistance.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
