The Stone

See the natural beauty of Grafite up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this sintered stone unique.

Deep cool grey sintered stone with dense multi-tonal speckling — a richly textured dark mineral surface.

Dekton Grafite creates depth through layers of subtle texture. Its deep cool grey base is subtly mottled with slightly lighter and darker grey shades. A dense granular texture features a myriad of fine speckles in off-white, black, and warm beige scattered uniformly. Faint irregular thread-like streaks of warm brown-grey add delicate random movement rather than distinct veining. The matte or honed finish is devoid of significant reflectivity. Grafite's name — Italian for graphite — captures its character perfectly: the cool, dense, mineral quality of compressed carbon. The warm beige speckles within the cool grey prevent it from being cold, adding unexpected warmth to the industrial darkness. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Grafite

What does Dekton Grafite look like?
Grafite has a deep cool grey base subtly mottled with lighter and darker grey. Dense speckling in off-white, black, and warm beige is scattered uniformly. Faint warm brown-grey streaks add delicate movement. The matte finish has no reflectivity. It reads as a rich, mineral-like dark surface — industrial depth with subtle warm undertones.
What does the name Grafite mean?
Grafite is Italian for graphite — the carbon mineral used in pencils and as a lubricant. The name captures the surface's dense, mineral quality: cool grey with a compressed, layered character. Like graphite itself, Grafite has depth and complexity beneath its seemingly simple dark exterior.
How does Grafite compare to Grigio?
Both are from the Pietra Kode collection, but at opposite ends of the tonal spectrum. Grigio is warm beige-grey with fossil-like inclusions — light and earthy. Grafite is deep cool grey with mineral speckling — dark and industrial. Grigio is natural warmth; Grafite is urban sophistication.
Is the dark matte finish practical?
The dense multi-tonal speckling helps significantly — pure dark matte surfaces show dust and marks, but Grafite's off-white, black, and beige speckles break up the dark background and camouflage daily wear. The matte finish hides fingerprints better than polished dark surfaces. It's more practical than it first appears.
What cabinetry suits Grafite?
White cabinetry creates bold, clean contrast. Natural timber adds warmth that connects with the beige speckles. For an immersive scheme, dark cabinetry with Grafite creates a moody, enveloping kitchen. Matt black hardware reinforces the industrial character. Brushed brass creates warm accents within the cool darkness.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
