Concrete Effect Industrial Minimal

Mid-grey sintered stone with soft mottled movement and minimal texture — a pure, quietly industrial concrete surface.

Dekton Kreta distils the concrete aesthetic to its purest expression. Its consistent mid-grey base with subtle cool undertones features a diffused random mottled pattern of slightly varying grey tones creating soft cloud-like movement rather than veining. A few extremely fine sparse irregular thread-like lines appear slightly lighter than the base. Very sparse minute dark speckles suggest a slightly granular texture. The matte or honed finish shows no visible sheen. Kreta is concrete without pretension — no dramatic effects, no warm undertones, just honest mid-grey with gentle imperfections. It's for kitchens and spaces that want material simplicity as a design statement. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Kreta

What does Dekton Kreta look like?
Kreta has a consistent mid-grey base with subtle cool undertones. Soft cloud-like mottling in varying grey tones creates gentle movement. A few very fine lighter threads and sparse dark speckles add minimal detail. Matte finish with no sheen. Pure, honest concrete — uniform grey with gentle imperfections. Nothing added, nothing forced.
How does Kreta compare to Milar?
Both are Industrial collection concrete designs, but at different tonal depths and warmth levels. Milar is darker charcoal with warm olive-brown undertones — earthy and complex. Kreta is lighter mid-grey with cool undertones — neutral and simple. Milar is aged industrial; Kreta is fresh concrete. Different moods entirely.
Is pure grey versatile?
Extremely — mid-grey is one of the most neutral colours possible. It sits between warm and cool, light and dark, connecting with virtually any cabinetry colour and hardware finish. Kreta's cloud-like mottling adds just enough visual interest to prevent monotony while maintaining its versatile neutrality.
What cabinetry suits Kreta?
Almost anything. White creates clean contrast. Timber adds warmth. Dark cabinetry creates sophisticated depth. Coloured cabinetry (blue, green, burgundy) uses the grey worktop as a neutral foundation. Both warm brass and cool chrome hardware work equally well. Kreta's neutrality is its greatest design asset.
Can Kreta be used for a commercial fit-out?
Ideal — the honest concrete character suits offices, restaurants, cafes, and retail spaces. The uniform mid-grey works with commercial branding without competing. Dekton's extreme durability handles commercial traffic. Null porosity means hygiene certification is straightforward. A1 fire certification meets commercial building regulations.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
