The Stone

See the natural beauty of Marmorio up close — the surface texture, colour depth, and veining that make this sintered stone unique.

Style:

Natural Textured Layered

Pale cream-beige sintered stone with horizontal sedimentary banding and natural pores — a layered, ancient stone surface.

Dekton Marmorio reveals the layered history of sedimentary rock formation. Its pale warm cream-beige base with subtle light brown undertones carries a dense horizontally banded pattern where layers of slightly darker warm brown-grey or sandy material undulate across the slab. The distinctly matte or honed finish is characterised by numerous fine irregular lines, pores, and granular areas that give it a natural tactile feel. Marmorio looks like stone that was quarried from deep within the earth — ancient sedimentary layers exposed for the first time. The horizontal banding and natural pore structure combine to create a surface with genuine geological authenticity. Engineered by Cosentino using TSP technology. Null porosity, UV resistant, A1 fire certified. 25-year warranty. Carbon neutral. Supplied and installed by In2Stone across Hampshire.

Frequently Asked

Questions About Marmorio

What does Dekton Marmorio look like?
Marmorio has a pale warm cream-beige base with dense horizontal banding in slightly darker warm brown-grey. The matte finish has numerous fine pores, irregular lines, and granular areas creating a natural tactile feel. It reads as layered sedimentary rock — ancient, geological, and authentically textured.
Is the porous texture really non-absorbent?
Yes — despite the visual pore structure, Dekton has null porosity achieved through TSP technology. The pores are a visual and tactile feature, not a functional weakness. No liquid can penetrate the surface. This gives you the authentic look and feel of natural porous stone with zero maintenance concerns.
How does Marmorio compare to Trevi?
Both feature horizontal banding, but in different ways. Trevi has bolder taupe bands on a cooler grey base — more defined and graphic. Marmorio has finer, more numerous bands on a warmer cream base with natural pore texture — more detailed and geologically authentic. Trevi is architectural; Marmorio is geological.
What cabinetry suits Marmorio?
The warm cream-beige tones pair naturally with cream, ivory, and warm white cabinetry. Natural timber adds earthy continuity. Dark cabinetry creates sophisticated contrast while the textured worktop provides visual interest. Brushed bronze or antique brass hardware complements the warm, ancient stone character.
Can the textured surface be used for food prep?
Yes — Dekton is food-safe and the textured surface cleans easily with soap and water despite its natural feel. The null porosity prevents any food particles or bacteria from entering the surface. Use a chopping board for knife work as with any worktop material, but the surface itself is completely hygienic.
★★★★★
"Excellent Service and Beautiful Results - Highly Recommended! I recently had In2stone install new quartz worktops in my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was completely stress-free. The team was not only competitively priced but also incredibly friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They handled everything seamlessly - removing the existing sink, hob, and old laminate worktops before fitting the new quartz surfaces. The finished worktops are absolutely beautiful and have transformed my kitchen into a modern, minimalist space that I love spending time in. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and the attention to detail really shows. I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend In2stone to anyone considering new worktops. Well done to the entire team - you've exceeded my expectations!"
